In his role as Client Account Specialist, Westyn works closely with advisors and clients to help ensure every “i” is dotted and every “t” is crossed.
“In today’s world, it is hard to know everything about what you may encounter day to day. Being an advocate is being that point person, a specialist, in an area so that you can advocate the best for your clients, friends, and family.”
Hospitality is in his blood, literally. The oldest son of seven kids, he grew up in North Dakota with a chef father and a science teacher mother. He later received an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Culinary and Hospitality Management from The Art Institute in Colorado. His passion for details and tailoring service to meet a client’s specific needs first led him to The Minneapolis Club handling personal and professional member requests from coordinating meetings to assisting with confidential items. During his time there, he was encouraged to follow his other passion – the stock market. Westyn moved to Ameriprise, where he was a senior brokerage representative for four years before joining the JNBA team.
Westyn lives in Uptown with his wife, Keelin. He is an avid golfer, often playing more than 50 rounds a year.
