As President of JNBA, Kim serves as a champion of the firm’s service-oriented culture. She works closely with the JNBA advisory teams to reinforce and enhance the firm’s services. Kim was the driving force behind the firm’s shift to a team-based client service model, which brings together groups of professionals with diverse experience to deliver on a wide range of client needs. She continues to serve as a visionary in implementing new service initiatives and communication enhancements throughout the firm.

Since she joined JNBA in 2006, Kim’s intuitive business skills and passion for financial life planning have helped elevate the firm’s profile in Minnesota and across the country. Kim has taken a national leadership role as a proponent of independence in the wealth management industry. Most recently, she implemented a mentorship program to help prepare the next generation of financial advisors to address the challenges and opportunities of the future.
Kim’s past work experience provides her with unique insight into the financial services industry and allows her to implement innovative structures, services, and processes to meet client needs. She previously served as CEO at Pass-Go Consulting, director of marketing at Farr Development, and senior vice president at marketing communications agency Colle McVoy.
Kim has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. She has been recognized as a Notable Leader in Finance by Twin Cities Business (2021), a Top 25 Women in Finance by Finance & Commerce magazine (2018, 2011, 2009), a Women Who Lead by Minnesota Business(2018), and a Women in Business Honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal (2012).
Kim has previously served on the Charles Schwab Advisor Panel the TD Ameritrade Advisor Panel. Additionally, she has held board positions at Global Rights for Women, Angel Foundation, and the Jefferson Awards. Kim currently serves on the board of Platinum Bank.
