“Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.”
As a Client Account Specialist, Andy Truax is passionate about financial planning and grateful for the opportunity to work with JNBA’s clients as they navigate their most important decisions.
He first caught the financial bug in his teens, when his job as a caddy at the local golf club in his hometown of Waukesha, Wisconsin, led to an internship at Northwestern Mutual. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse with a degree in marketing and finance, he spent nearly three years as a mutual fund specialist in Wisconsin, then four years as first a client administration analyst then a business analyst at a global asset management firm in the Twin Cities.
Andy and his wife Sophie live in Minneapolis with their border collie, Prince — named not for the Minnesota musician, but after Prince Fielder, the former Milwaukee Brewer. Andy plays drums and guitar, and, if you haven’t already guessed, loves Wisconsin sports.
