Brown is proud to chair the Essentia Health Foundation board and represent the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) as a Senior Fellow to the Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE) and on the Dean’s Business Advisory Council. In 2010, Richard and the JNBA Team assisted in the development of a UMD financial planning curriculum and TD Ameritrade Learning Lab that ultimately led to financial planning becoming a major.
