Twin Cities Business Names Kim Brown to 2023 List of Notable Women in Wealth Management

Cärin Viertel, Director of Client Services

Congratulations to Kim Brown on being named one of 2023’s Notable Women in Wealth Management by Twin Cities Business Magazine.

In the roster of 13 women, each was lauded for their ability to influence company culture and inspire more women to go into finance. Twin Cities Business also highlighted their commitment to serve in industry groups and philanthropic organizations.

As stated in Kim’s recognition,

“She’s known throughout the industry for her stellar client retention. She fosters a workplace culture that prioritizes fun and well-being. As president, she has been the driving force behind JNBA’s shift to a team-based client service model, which brings together groups of professionals with diverse experience to deliver on a wide range of client needs.”

Outside of her 17 years of driving meaningful change at the firm, Kim serves on the board of Platinum Bank. She has also held board member roles with Global Rights for Women, Angel Foundation, and the Jefferson Awards.

Previously, Kim was named a Notable Leader in Finance by Twin Cities Business Magazine (2021), a Top 25 Women in Finance by Finance & Commerce magazine (2018, 2011, 2009), and a Women in Business honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal (2012).
