With thankfulness and gratitude at the forefront of the season, we reflect on one of our most meaningful accomplishments of 2022: For the third time, JNBA was named to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list in the small company category.
In addition to noting the multiple benefits for our employees — from paying 100-percent of healthcare premiums for employees, spouses, and dependents to providing extended days off around Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and year-end — the Business Journal focused on how our firm “continues to adjust its benefits to recognize the work of its team members,” including work anniversary gifts and sabbaticals.
For this year’s Best Places to Work feature, the Business Journal asked honorees to complete a Mad Libs-style survey, including our thoughts on how other companies can join us on the list next year (“always put the client first, truly enjoy the work you do, and treat clients like family”). The most unique twist to this year’s list was being asked what kind of animal best describes our team. Our response? A wolf, because “we are loyal to our clients and team members, knowledgeable of our terrain, and always take care of our pack.”
Our firm culture built upon the values shared by our team is our guiding light to help ensure that we’re attracting – and retaining – the top people in our field. And we’re currently on the lookout for several more people to join our growing pack — we’re looking for an Investment Strategist, Advisors, and Client Account Specialists. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about JNBA’s open positions, please apply today at [email protected].
One of the simplest forms of gratitude is to say “thank you.” Thank you to everyone who made this recognition possible, especially our amazing team and the clients we’re honored to work alongside.
