For the fourth year in a row, JNBA Financial Advisors CEO Richard S. Brown has been named to the Forbes Best-in-State Top Wealth Advisors. Richard was ranked as one of Minnesota’s top three financial advisors on the high net worth list, and once again appears on the list as the state’s top fee-only investment advisor.
Each of the more than 6,500 advisors on this year’s list was ranked by SHOOK Research based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative criteria, including interviews, industry experience, compliance records, revenue produced, and assets under management.
The Forbes ranking follows another major recognition for Richard and JNBA this spring. In March, for the second year in a row, Barron’s ranked Richard the top financial advisor in Minnesota. While JNBA and Richard have taken the top spot on Barron’s Minnesota list a total of four times — in 2014, 2018, 2021, and 2022 — this is the first time he has received back-to-back top-advisor nods.
