Operations Support Specialist

Ryan Hoglund

Operations Support Specialist

Ryan joined the JNBA team in 2025 as an Operations Support Specialist. In this role, he serves as a central resource for advisors and team members, assisting with data-driven tasks and projects that enhance accuracy, strengthen internal processes, and ultimately contribute to a seamless client experience.

“Being an advocate means consistently prioritizing the client’s best interests through thoughtful, intentional, and thorough work. It involves treating each client with the same level of care and respect you would offer a family member.”

Before coming to JNBA, Ryan worked at a large corporation in the healthcare industry where he found himself craving a more people-focused culture. He was drawn to JNBA because of the strong leadership and genuine investment that is made in the team’s professional development, as well as the firm’s commitment to doing what’s right for clients and colleagues.

In addition to his work here at JNBA, Ryan is an integral part of the Minnesota Wild’s home game operations. Since high school, he has worked as support staff for the team locker room and bench. Ryan helps make sure all of the players have their gear ready to go to their preferences — from setting out game day jerseys to sharpening skate blades – so that the players can focus on the game and performing their best.

Ryan attended the University of St. Thomas where he earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He lives in Wayzata, close to his family and their church where he is very active.
