Here at JNBA Financial Advisors, we’re devoted to giving back to the community. While we all have our own passions and interests we contribute to, we also enjoy volunteering as a team. This summer, the team divided up over two days in July and August to volunteer for a local nonprofit, Open Arms of Minnesota.
Open Arms of Minnesota is a nonprofit that cooks and delivers free, nutritious meals to people living with life-threatening illnesses in the Twin Cities. JNBA team members donned aprons and hairnets, and went to work chopping vegetables and preparing other ingredients for meals. Over the two days, we:
Peeled and shredded 140 lbs of carrots
Chopped and cleaned 140 lbs of lettuce
Bagged and tagged 120 sugar cookies
Bagged and tagged 120 chocolate crinkle cookies
Diced 25 lbs of red bell peppers
Assembled 120 green salads
Thanks to the crew at Open Arms of Minnesota for the good work you do for families in the Twin Cities community and allowing us the opportunity to contribute to your mission!
