Barron’s Top 100 Independent Wealth Advisor Continues a Year of Major Recognition for JNBA

This year, local and national publications alike have recognized JNBA Financial Advisors and our team for leadership in an industry. We’re excited to share that last week we received additional recognition from Barron’s: JNBA CEO Richard S. Brown has been named to Barron’s list of the Top 100 Independent Wealth Advisors of 2018. Richard is the only Minnesota financial advisor on the list, and ranked 47th, up from 52nd last year.

As we near our 40th anniversary – coming up in 2019 – we’re honored and humbled by these recent accolades, including:

  • In September, Brown was named to the Forbes 2018 Top Wealth Advisors List, which includes 250 of the nation’s leading advisors. Richard is ranked 100th nationwide and is the top Minnesota advisor on the list.
  • In August, JNBA President Kim Brown was named to the Finance & Commerce Top Women in Finance Hall of Fame. She will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at a ceremony in November.
  • In June, for the fourth time, JNBA was named to the 2018 Financial Times 300 Top Registered Advisers list.
  • And in March, Richard S. Brown was ranked by Barron’s as Minnesota’s top financial advisor, as well as the top Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) in Minnesota. Also, for the ninth consecutive year, the independent firm was named to Barron’s list of the 1,200 top advisors in the country.

The accolades and awards are wonderful, but at the end of the day, we get the most satisfaction from the fact that we’re striving to provide the highest level of service in an independent, fiduciary manner to our clients, and we’ve been doing so for nearly four decades.

As always, thank you to our clients for entrusting us to be your financial advocates.
