For the fourth year, JNBA Financial Advisors has been named to the Financial Times 300 Top Registered Advisers list. And for the fourth year, all of us at JNBA are extremely proud and honored to receive this recognition. Independence has been at JNBA’s core since it was founded nearly 40 years ago, and to continue to be recognized as one of the top independent registered investment advisors (RIAs) in the nation is something we’re extremely proud of receiving.
We work as a team, and this type of recognition reinforces that everyone plays an important role in ensuring that we’re providing the best level of service to our clients while always acting in their best interest.
Some of our team members weighed in on what this honor means to them.
Advice driven by advocacy.™
“Our ‘advice driven by advocacy’ philosophy is at the heart of what makes JNBA successful, and we are honored the Financial Times recognizes our firm as one of the country’s top independent RIAs” says Kim Brown, JNBA’s president. “As an independent RIA and fiduciary, we take an advocacy-first approach in all that we do in order to always act in our clients’ best interests. That’s who we are.”
“Being recognized as a top Registered Investment Advisor in the country is a great honor for our team, as we continue to celebrate the fiduciary business model that our firm helped pioneer almost 40 years ago,” says Cärin Viertel, Director of Client Services.
“Independence and the ability to provide objective, conflict-free advice in all areas of wealth management is central to how our team works with clients, and what our team is passionate about delivering every day. We wear the independence badge with honor and consider it a great privilege that we don’t have constraints on how we help clients achieve their success. This honor draws attention to a core business value that we are extremely proud to champion on behalf of our clients.”
Beyond doing what is best for clients in terms of investment approach, JNBA also values client service. “The FT 300 is an acknowledgement of how we run our business,” says Pat Moyneur, Senior Advisor – Director of Advisory Services. “From our business and staffing model, to how we execute on service, planning and investment management, everything we do focuses on how we serve clients.”
“This recognition highlights JNBA as a well-balanced firm that has taken the time to develop consistency and process across all key phases of its business,” Pat notes. “And because we do not answer to anyone but ourselves and our clients – not a parent company – with our independence we have been able to focus on what we feel is truly important to grow our business and serve clients in a value-added way.”
As always, we feel honored that our clients put their trust in us. It’s simply an added bonus to receive accolades from the financial services industry – recognition that we are doing things differently here, and it’s working.
