Nothing matters more than a great client experience, and that is exactly what Kim Brown has been delivering for more than 20 years. "I learned long ago that great client service comes from the inside out. You cannot mandate it. If people don't have in their hearts the desire to serve and make a difference for others, they won't. Spreading the spirit of service is a life goal and deep passion."

As President, Kim spends her time working with the JNBA advisory teams as a strategic partner to develop client solutions and enhance the level of service delivered. Education being a cornerstone of JNBA, Kim advances the firm's mission by developing and leading educational programs for clients and the community - including seminars on Women and Money, Couples and Money, and Kids and Money. Kim's personal experiences have played an impactful role in developing her drive to help people understand money and how to create a sound financial plan to help them meet their goals.

Kim is also a member of JNBA's Investment and Financial Planning Committees. Since joining the firm in 2002 as an Executive Team Leader, Kim's intuitive business skills have helped elevate JNBA to the national platform. Prior to working at JNBA, Kim was a Senior Vice President at a Minneapolis-based marketing communication firm working with Fortune 500 companies including Pfizer and Land O' Lakes. "Working at JNBA has allowed me to take my experience in servicing and building national brands to an entirely new and much more intimate level."

Kim was recently named as a Top 25 Woman in Finance by Finance and Commerce magazine. She is an active volunteer and board member of the Angel Foundation, an organization that provides financial assistance to families going through the cancer experience. "I know first hand the difficulties and challenges a cancer diagnosis puts on families. My involvement with Angel allows me to extend my hand and heart in help and support".

Kim graduated from the University of Mary and did graduate coursework at the University of St. Thomas. An avid reader and believer in education, Kim continues to tune her business skills by attending business and financial seminars. She and her husband, Richard, enjoy spending their free time at home with family and friends. They also enjoy boating, golfing and travel.
