JNBA was founded over thirty yeas ago by Judith N. Brown based on a simple yet revolutionary realization: Anyone paid to sell investment products cannot be an objective advocate for a client's best interests. Hence, a new business model was born. Judi did away with commission-based selling and instead aligned JNBA firmly with our clients' best interests and put both the client and advisor on the same side of the table. Today JNBA is led by Richard S. Brown and Kim Brown, Judi's son and daughter-in-law. As CEO and President, respectively, they have taken the firm to new levels, tripling client assets under management and consistently achieving a 95 percent client retention rate making us one of the area's premier wealth management firms.
